How can I read an ebook on my computer?

EPUB: To open an .epub file, right click on the book title, choose Open with, and select your preferred ebook reader application. If you don’t have an ebook reader installed on your computer, laptop, or tablet, download a free ereader, like Calibre or Adobe Digital Editions.

You can also sign up for a Google Play account and upload the ebook to read in your web browser.

.Epub files work for most ereaders that aren’t Kindles – just transfer it to your device and you should be good to go.

MOBI: To open a .mobi file, you need a Kindle device, or a free Kindle app installed on your phone or tablet. Use the Send to Kindle app on your computer to upload the file, and you’ll be able to read it, no problem.

What’s the release schedule?

Good question! The first issue of Four Windows: Seattle was released on September 15, 2014. (You can snag your free copy here.)

Subscribers will receive the rest of the issues straight to their inbox.

Issue 2: November 30
Issue 3: February 28
Issue 4 (final): May 31

Will there be a print edition?

Each of the novels will be available in print once they’re finished, but we won’t be publishing the journal issues in print.

Will I be able to buy all these novels after they’re all out?

Yes! Subscribers will get an ebook copy of all four novels as part of their subscription, but once they’re completed we’ll have all four novels up for sale wherever fine ebooks are sold. We’ll also have print copies available for sale. (Subscribers will get a 15% discount on print copies.)

What city will we do next?

We’re not sure yet! If you’re a writer and interested in taking part in the next novel incubator project, shoot us an email at editors {{at}} fourwindowsbooks.com.
